Extron, Inc., (http://www.extroninc.com ) will showcase its new Versa medical electronics cart design platform at the Anaheim Convention Center on February 5-7, 2019, Booth 1794 in the Main Hall.
The versatile new cart design platform will provide medical equipment manufacturers with a wide range of design options for housing mobile procedure, monitoring, test and measurement instrumentation based on the industry standard 19” form factor. The advanced designs are capable of multiple height options, surfaces, handle options, metal or plastic components, multiple door, drawer, and keyboard options, monitor mounting solutions, onboard power supply, branding options, and much more. Compared to traditional modular designs, Versa allows Extron to deliver more closely to an OEM’s exact design requirements, while still delivering a cost-effective solution.
Extron’s ISO 13485 certified design and manufacturing processes and ability to design to IEC 60601 standard give a significant advantage to OEM manufacturers of medical procedure and monitoring equipment who require a higher level of Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the engineering and manufacture of specialized carts which house their equipment.
The company’s extensive supply chain capabilities allow Extron to offer the full range of design-build solutions, including concept, design, engineering, prototyping, global component sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing, fulfillment and distribution. Extron’s global operations centers include worldwide locations for these services.
Extron’s CEO, Sandeep Duggal, stated “The new Versa medical electronics cart design platform is truly a next-generation solution that allows nearly unlimited flexibility. With this one new platform, our product engineering team can in turn provide a greater range of solutions for OEMs in all areas of the medical electronics industry.”
Randy Duke, Extron’s VP of Business Development went on to state “At MD&M this year, not only will we be showcasing various Versa cart options, but we will also have examples of the world-class Knurr line of mobile electronics carts. We’re looking forward to our booth visitors and a conversation that will ultimately lead to a world-class mobile electronics enclosure solution for their next new product rollout.”
Extron’s innovative medical and mobile electronics cart offerings will be showcased at MD&M West, booth #1794.
